All Nations Village Church, Botswana

Botswana is a small country roughly the size of Texas located in the southern region of Africa with a population of 1.6 million people. It boasts a very influential location sharing borders with Zambia, Zimbabwe, Namibia, and South Africa. Botswana is an African success story with a strong and stable government, never having experienced a civil war.  However, Botswana is a country of great needs. It has one of the highest percentages of HIV/AIDS with almost 70% of the population under 18 years of age and average life expectancy for males only 35 years.

In Botswana, Maximizing Children’s Ministries works in conjunction with Love Botswana Outreach Mission.  Matt and Kelly Clayton spent two years, 2008 - 2010, living in Botswana, working to reorganize and revolutionize the children’s program at All Nations Village Church.  Serving as the children’s pastors, Matt and Kelly saw the children’s program triple in size.  Maximizing Children’s Ministries continues to invest in All Nations Village Church, regularly sending curriculum and resources for the children’s program.
