Alas de Fe Church, Bolivia

Bolivia is a country of 9 million people in South America. It is the poorest, most under developed country on the continent with over two-thirds of the population living in poverty. Bolivia has a large indigenous Indian culture making up over 60% of the population. It is a beautiful country containing rain forests, plains and towering mountains.

In Bolivia, Maximizing Children’s Ministries works in conjunction with Alas de Fe Ministries based in La Paz. In 2007/2008, Matt Clayton spent 9 months living and working in Bolivia.  During his time there, Matt revolutionized the childrens ministry, leading the program to more than double in size.  He helped build a public playground (the first of its type in the area), furnish a functional feeding center, and develop media to connect Alas de Fe Ministries with American churches.

Maximizing Children’s Ministr continues to provide monthly support for the children's ministry and funding for feeding the children of La Paz.
